Integrites` partner Oleksandr Aleksyeyenko made a speech at the IX Annual financial directors forum 2010

 21 October 2010. Kyiv. Partner of international law firm Integrites Oleksandr Aleksyeyenko gave a speech on «Ways of currency risks hedging in Ukraine» at the IX Annual Financial Directors Forum 2010, organized by FA Service (Ukraine).

In his speech Mr. Aleksyeyenko described the ways to reduce currency risks, analyzed regulatory framework of hedging in Ukraine, and discussed hedging instruments and problems. 

In particular, Oleksandr outlined the following hedging problems: underdevelopment of Ukrainian stock markets and actual absence of hedging instruments in Ukraine, National Bank of Ukraine restrictions on transactions with currency derivatives (futures, SWAPs and options), Furthermore, lack of proper listing regulations of hedge instruments, and lack of clean and clear regulation of currency derivatives and their secondary trading, and also contribute to the uncertainty of hedging business in Ukraine.

Forum participants discussed prospective of the Ukrainian and global economies development in 2011, tax innovations, transformation of Ukrainian finance business model, role of a financial department in achievement of company’s financial profitability, and other problems of the Ukrainian financial market.
