Ruslan Bernatski, a Senior Partner with Integrites law firm, participated in the 6th annual Ukrainian Investment Summit, which took place at the Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel in London.
The Summit participants focused on a wide range of issues. Possible ways to stimulate the Ukrainian economy during the recovery period, prospects of the Ukrainian banking sector, investment opportunities in Ukraine and matters related to preparations for Euro 2012 were all discussed. The announcement of the beginning of a large-scale privatisation program, covering many of the most attractive state assets was also discussed.
The agenda of the three-day summit included the summer session arrangement concerning mergers and acquisitions (M&A), a presentation entitled "People First” was held and a formal speech was made by the State Roads Administration of Ukraine (Ukravtodor).
Representatives of the leading public and private sectors of Ukraine and other countries, including the National Bank of Ukraine, Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine, the State Property Fund of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Environment of Ukraine, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Blackstone company , ING Bank, Credit Agricole Bank, National Credit Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, Aval Bank, Abris Capital, Thirs Millenium Russia Fund and many other leading organisations participated in the summit.
