Integrites partner elected chairman of the Foreign Trade Committee at the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry

04 May 2011. Oleksandr Aleksyeyenko, Integrites’ partner, is elected Chairman of the Foreign Trade Committee at the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Alina Plyushch, Integrites’ partner, is elected Deputy Chairman.

As part of its activities, the Committee will consider improvement of Ukraine’s export legislation and protection of foreign investments, development of programs for state export support, promotion of the Ukrainian products at the world markets. Furthermore, the Committee will monitor Ukraine’s current legislation to assure compliance with the WTO rules, and will facilitate investments in the Ukrainian investment and innovative projects.

The Committee is planning to establish close cooperation with the major Ukrainian and foreign specialised organisations, including the London Stock Exchange, London Metal Exchange, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, State Securities and Stock Market Commission, the National Bank of Ukraine, export credit agencies, and Ukrpatent (Ukrainian Institute of Industrial Property).

Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a state non-profit organisation aimed at promoting development of the national economy and its integration into the global system, strengthening of market mechanisms, providing practical assistance to enterprises of all types of ownership and representing the interests of member organisations at local state executive authorities.
