Integrites advises VITMARK Group of companies in dispute settlement against tax administration

25 July 2011. International law firm Integrites acted as a legal counsel for Vitmark Group of companies, leading producer of juices in Ukraine, in the dispute settlement process against tax administration.

Integrites acted as a legal counsel for Vitmark Group of companies in a tax dispute in the territory of Ukraine. In the framework of the case Integrites’ lawyers applied a complex of measures aimed at  abolishing illegitimate additional taxation at the amount exceeding UAH 1 mln, imposed on Vitmark.

Both the Court of Appeal and the Higher Administrative Court of Ukraine (Decree dated July, 19, 2011) supported Vitmark’s position having recalled the judgment of the court of original jurisdiction. Integrites was successful in persuading the court that refusal of the tax inspectorate to recognize consultancy fees as a tax deductable expense was without grounds.

The case was led by the counsel Anna Tyshchenko and managed by associates Valentyna Pylypenko and Marianna Yaroshchiuk.

Vitmark Group is one of the largest holdings, operating for more than 15 years in Ukraine. The analysis of the holding’s activity proves its development to exceed the development of relevant industry.
