Integrites acts as legal counsel for ASTELLAS PHARMA EUROPE B.V.

28 July 2011. International law firm Integrites acted as a legal counsel for Astellas Pharma Europe B.V., one of the world’s leading producers of pharmaceutical products, in the international court of arbitration.

Integrites represented Astellas in the dispute regarding breach of contractual obligations by its Ukrainian counterparty «VVS-LTD». The International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce satisfied the plaintiff's claim of Astellas Pharma Europe B.V. in full and awarded to charge the defendant the full amount  of UAH 4 000 000.

The case was led by Integrites senior associate Marianna Yaroshchyuk and managed by the counsel Anna Tyshchenko.

The multinational pharmaceutical company Astellas Pharma was founded in 2005 as the result of a merger of pharmaceutical giants Yamanouchi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd and Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Astellas Pharma ranks second in Japan and 15th in the world among the largest pharmaceutical companies.
