INTEGRITES ACTED AS UKRAINIAN LEGAL COUNSEL TO EBRD ON SECURED LOAN TO ASTARTA-KYIV AT THE AMOUNT OF USD 60 MLN

19 September 2011. Integrites International Law Firm acted as Ukrainian legal counsel to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on secured USD 60 mln. loan to the agri-industrial holding Astarta-Kyiv, one of the leaders of sugar and agrarian industries of Ukraine.

The proceeds of the loan will be utilized to consolidate the existed EBRD loans and to facilitate further dynamic development of agricultural, dairy and sugar business segments.

Integrites team advised EBRD on Ukrainian law issues connected with execution and performance of the loan agreement, as well as on its security documentation under Ukrainian law.

Integrites team included associates Yevgen Blok, Svitlana Berezhna and Marta Hontaruk and was led by partner Oleksandr Aleksyeyenko.

Astarta-Kyiv is a vertically integrated agri-industrial holding, which comprises five regional subunits in Poltava, Vynnytsia and Khmelnytsky regions and is one of the leaders of the sugar and agricultural sector of Ukraine.
