International law firm Integrites advises Syngenta, one of the leaders in the agrochemical market, on issues related to R&D of plant genetic resources.
ILF Integrites advises Syngenta on biodiversity issues. Under the project’s framework, the ILF Integrites’ lawyers provide the client with the support regarding legal grounds for foreign companies' access to plant genetic resources in Ukraine, possibilities of export of genetic materials and protection of Plant breeders' rights. The legal analysis provided by the lawyers of ILF Integrites also covers issues of the ex-situ conservation of plant genetic resources.
As a result of comprehensive legal support, Syngenta has a detailed view of the legal regulation of issues related to the research and development of plant genetic resources which will allow company’s effective planning of relevant projects in this area.
