International law firm Integrites launched the campaign to expand its presence on the professional services market in the Republic of Kazakhstan by strengthening the executive board and enhancing the major practices: dispute resolution and corporate law/M&A.
Taking into account the increasing market demand for competent legal services including litigation and legal support for M&A deals, which are typical for Kazakhstan’s legal services market, Integrites strengthened the team of dispute resolution practice and corporate law practice. In particular, Duman Achmetov, Svetlana Shtopol and Almagul O'Neill became partners of the firm.
Mr. Achmetov has a long experience in providing successful legal support for multi-million projects of international companies on M&A, corporate governance and due diligence. As a member of ILF Integrites team in Kazakhstan office, Duman Achmetov manages projects involving issues in land law, real estate & construction industries.
Svetlana Shtopol’s expertise is based on the numerous successful projects of legal protection of international and Kazakh companies from different industries as well as providing legal support and representing the clients on subsoil use matters and government relations. After becoming Integrites partner Mrs. Shotopl is the head of the practice which provides quality legal services to companies from the mining complex.
Almagul O'Neill has a sound experience of providing comprehensive due diligence of the projects, legal support on matters of subsoil use as well international trade transactions. Furthermore, the personal record of Ms. O’Neill includes a number of successful projects on legal support to clients – companies from mining and oil and gas sector of Kazakhstan. The area of her responsibility includes comprehensive support of projects dealing with chemical and petrochemical industries.
“The necessity to strengthen and develop our dispute resolution practice and corporate law practice is triggered, on the one hand, by the market demand and the number of transactions in these spheres which has increased significantly this year. But the main goal of the staff turnover as well as the improvement of the practices’ activity is to follow the clients’ interests quickly and to meet their needs and expectations”, - sums up the Managing Partner at Kazakh Office of ILF Integrites Kurmangazy Talzhanov.
