International law firm Integrites continues a series of workshops on the most pressing and topical issues for business.
During the last workshop organized on May, 30 as discussion panel: “Advertising Race. How to Become a Winner without Breaking the Rules. Antimonopoly Aspect”, the experts of ILF Integrites explained how to maintain company’s supremacy without breaching antitrust legislation in the sphere of advertising.
In particular, there were considered the most common cases of violations of Ukrainian and foreign competition legislation as well as there were analyzed the approaches of antitrust authorities to qualify companies' actions as a violation of competition legislation and to impose sanctions for such offenses. Besides, workshop participants got in-depth analysis based on real case studies about common wrong beliefs regarding the use of illegal deceptive marketing practices. During the workshop special attention was paid to the practical aspects of the proceedings in cases and sanctions of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU). The final panel of the discussion workshop was dedicated to prosecution for distribution of deceptive information. Experts analyzed the problems of judicial practice to appeal against decisions of the AMCU in court.
