Anna Tyshchenko, the Counsel of Litigation Practice at International law firm Integrites, delivered a report within the International MSME Lending Program in Ukraine supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Anna Tyshchenko participated in the discussion group on ”Legal aspects of dealing with distressed assets in micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) segment. Practice. Problems. Prospects”, which took place on August, 22 within the International MSME Lending Program in Ukraine supported by the EBRD. The keynotes of the discussion were features of loan workouts and loan repayment methods.
Within the panel discussion Ms Tyshchenko delivered a report on live issues of bad debt recovery. In her presentation Anna touched upon the most common schemes to evade payment of debts according to the credit agreements and explained the hidden risks in each stage of the trial: mediation settlement, debt enforcement, execution of the court order and realization of property. Anna Tyshchenko used business cases to draw attention to the ways banks can be opposed as well as provided expert advice on how the banks coul not only minimize credit risks but avoid them as well.
