Managing Partner participated in the Round Table devoted to Dispute Resolution practice

 29th of January Managing Partner Vyacheslav Korchev took part in the Round Table “Results of Law Firms’ Activity within the Dispute Resolution practice in 2008. Prospective for ADR in 2009”, organized by legal publising Yur.Gazeta.

Within the Round table the leading Ukrainian law firms were discussing the main tendencies of dispute resolution during the current year as well as considering the future peculiarities of this practice development in the light of financial crises.

According to discussion the participants noticed the dynamic increasing of litigation concerning corporate rights, outstanding debts, investment obligations, labor relations, and others.

Vyacheslav Korchev added that the growing number of disputes has been settling by international arbitrations due to the clients’ requests. Another tendency is, Mr Korchev noticed, that millionth disputes in international trade have been solving “peaceably” by mediation procedures as a prospective alternative way of dispute resolution for Ukrainian legal market.
