INTEGRITES participated in the Round Table on “Restructuring, Corporate Law and M&A: lawyers’ advice for business”

24th of Febuary International Law Firm INTEGRITES participated in the Round Table on “Restructuring, Corporate Law and M&A: lawyers’ advice for business” held in Press-centre “Delo” and organized by the legal newspaper Yur Gazeta. 

Under the meeting the leading Ukrainian law firms practicing corporate law and M&A discussed the actual issues of practice development and current corporate matters takes place in accordance with financial crises. 

It was noticed the business restructuring and particularly bankruptcy are heavy demanded among the Ukrainian businesses today as the ways of cost optimization. But the most Ukrainian companies are not-structured and non-transparent that is why those who are interested in attraction facilities or to be sold need to structure their assets. At the same time the fall in transactions value as well as the fall in value of businesses are named as the new trends on M&A market for current year.  

Managing Partner of INTEGRITES Vyacheslav Korchev emphasized that unprotected and unstructured business most often causes corporate conflicts and forcible takeovers. To avoid unfavorable situations and negative outcomes each business needs to be structured and optimized. In particular it concerns complicated business structures and businesses that involves different jurisdictions where not only holding company but all subsidiaries should be controlled and protected.
