Taiwan is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, specifically, the 17th world's largest economy in the world, the 14th largest exporter, the 16th largest importer, the third largest holder of foreign exchange reserves and one of the "FourTigers" of Asia along with South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong.
The event was organized by Taiwan Trade Center (TAITRA) and Almaty Business Association (hereinafter - ABA).
The main purpose of the event is to strengthen ties and the development of business cooperation in the Central Asian region, which, due to its unique geographical position and strong economic growth, is now one of the key on the space.
Manufacturers of fasteners, building materials, auto parts, baby supplies, electronics, tools, gifts, fans, air conditioners, LED lighting and many other companies took part in the delegation from Taiwan.
The Business Forum was attended by over 100 Kazakhstani companies. The Forum delegates met with 30 companies from Taiwan. The Business Forum gave a unique opportunity to Taiwanese companies to conduct bilateral meetings with Kazakhstani companies in the format "B2B" and to discuss perspectives of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
During the event, Aigul Nussupbayeva, Client Services Manager of International Law Firm Integrites, met with representatives from Taiwan and discussed possible ways of cooperation in the future.
