The Managing Partner of Integrites meets the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergey Tigipko

The Managing Partner of Integrites international law firm, Vyacheslav Korchev, participated in a meeting with the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Sergey Tigipko,  discussing the possibilities of making “Amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine”.

During the meeting changes to some legislative acts of Ukraine on taxation were discussed. In particular, changes to the “Law on Value Added Tax", issues of resource and lease payments, tax on advertising, increase of excise taxes on alcoholic beverages and tobacco, tax on personal income, and changes in State Tax Service were considered.

Sergey Tigipko stated: “We have created the conditions necessary to lead to stable economic growth, next year, and we are planning to reach the predicted, pre-crisis figures by the end of 2011”. Vyacheslav Korchev stressed that the implementation of the proposed regulations would contribute to additional budget revenues, and it would help to fill in the gaps in legislation that allow the avoidance of tax repayments.

Also, in attendance were representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Agrarian Policy and various Directors of leading enterprises.
