International law firm Integrites participated in an annual forum dedicated to trade finance in Russia and CIS countries.

Heads of international financial corporations, banks and investment funds, as well as representatives of export insurance agencies participated in an annual conference on trade finance. Among the speakers were representatives of top management of ING Bank, EBRD, IFC, Deutsche Bank, Vnesheconombank, Alfa Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, Aval Bank, VTB Bank and various others. Ukraine and INTEGRITES were represented by Michael Vlasov, Head of the department of trade finance.

The participants discussed trends in banking and financial markets in Russia and CIS countries, as well as the role of international financial corporations, such as EBRD, IFC and export insurance agencies in the further development of trade in the region.

Particular attention was paid to the previous negative experiences of the majority of foreign financial institutions and banks while working with Ukraine and Kazakhstan, and to the long-term effects of that experience. Questions of corporate debt to foreign creditors in Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan were also on the agenda.
