Aleksandr Alekseenko, Integrites partner excels during the annual conference of corporate lawyers practicing in Ukraine

Aleksandr Alekseenko, a partner at Integrites law firm, took part in the 3rd annual conference of corporate lawyers, held under the auspices of the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) at the Radisson SAS Hotel.  

Aleksandr Alekseenko moderated the third session, which was dedicated to the analysis of problematic legal issues. Within the limits of the session participants discussed the recent trends in the use of agreements on double taxation evasion and dealings with Ukrainian tax authorities. Special attention was paid to the peculiarities of taxation of joint investment institutions and to the capacities, which, in this respect, are not yet used by Ukrainian businesses.

Careful attention was paid to legislation monitoring; the participants considered the practice of the Supreme Court of Ukraine on administrative matters and business relationships with banks. A separate session was devoted to issues related to assessing the "external" consultants and comparative analysis of management methods in Ukrainian and Russian companies’ legal departments. The conference program was compiled to show the working day of each legal adviser, who daily monitors, analyses and plans his activities, in particular –  the management of his company’s legal department.
