On September 6, Kazakh-Polish Business Forum was held in Astana. The forum was attended by the heads of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the President of the Republic of Poland.
At the forum, the parties announced their intention to develop cooperation in agriculture, industry and tourism. President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev urged entrepreneurs to invest more actively in joint ventures and stressed that the introduction of a bilateral visa-free regime would further strengthen relations between the two states.
A record number of Polish entrepreneurs took part in the business forum. At B2B meetings, there were more than 450 representatives of Kazakhstan and Poland. Vice Minister of Energy of Poland Grzegorz Tobiszowski, Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kurmanov R. Zh., Chairman of the Agrarian Markets Agency of Poland Lukasz Houbowski.
Director of the Astana branch of Integrites Ainur Akhmetova has participated in the session Financing of joint economic enterprises in which the Chairman of the Board of JSC NC Kazakh Invest M. Kabashev, Deputy Chairman of the Polish Trade and Investment Agency of Poland Kshyshtof Senger, Chairman of the Board of the JSC "Fund for the Development of Entrepreneurship" Damu "Sarkulov AS, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Polpharma Yezhy Starak, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC SELENA FM Kshyshtof Domaretsky delivered a speech. The session discussed the possibility of developing joint ventures between Kazakhstan and Poland. Parallel sessions held in regard to energy and mining and regional cooperation and infrastructure development.
