International law firm Integrites organized a seminar on attracting trade finance for retailers which took place on September, 29 in Kiev under the support of Exporta Publishing & Events Ltd.
The schemes to attract trade finance to Ukraine, the transparency of Ukrainian business for export credit agencies, general solutions for Ukrainian importers, as well as ECA’s insurance policies for corporate and country risks were considered in the presentations of Svetlana Gromyko-Piradova (SACE export credit agency), Altan Gao (Sinosure export credit agency), Vyacheslav Korchev (Integrites) and Anna Todchuk (Integrites).
According to Svetlana Gromyko-Piradova, SACE has issued guarantees for 261 mln euros for Ukraine by the end of the second quarter of 2011 and is considering now deals worth 300 mln euros. Altan Gao stated that Sinosure export credit agency, as a rule, covers risks of deals with Ukrainian importers for up to 50% of the amount of credit. In his turn, Vyacheslav Korchev said that, according to Integrites practice, Ukrainian importers with transparent business structure get the most favorable terms from export credit agencies.
