The team of INTEGRITES antitrust lawyers successfully represented the interests of one of the largest aluminum producers in the world – “Russian Aluminum” (“RusAl”).

The corresponding legal advice consisted in carrying out a comprehensive analysis of the activities of the companies belonging to the United Company Rusal, as well as in drafting of applications aimed at obtaining the approval of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine for concentration with another world-renowned company, GLENCORE.
As a result of comprehensive professional counselling, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine granted a permission for concentration between the United Company Rusal and GLENCORE. Besides, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine confirmed the fact that the participants of the concentration are not subject to any restrictive measures (sanctions).
The United Company Rusal is the world’s largest aluminum producer. The company’s main products are primary aluminum, aluminum alloys, foil and alumina. The assets of the United Company Rusal comprise the entire complex of enterprises involved in the chain of production of the final product: from mining plants to aluminum and foil–rolling plants, thus, allowing the company to monitor all stages of the production process, ensuring high–quality products.
