Olena Perepelynska, Partner and Head of International Arbitration at INTEGRITES, became member of the recently appointed Board of the International Arbitration Court “Chamber of Arbitrators at the Union of Lawyers” in Belarus. Among other Board Members there are 7 partners from the leading law firms in Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Switzerland. They will consolidate efforts to promote the institution within business and arbitration communities.
Based in Ukraine, Olena Perepelynska is one of the leading international arbitration experts in the region with more than 16 years of experience in the field. Along with her other professional appointments, she is the President of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association, Member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, Member of the TIAC Court of Arbitration. She regularly sits as arbitrator in Belarus-seated arbitrations. Industry-wise Olena has developed particular expertise in agribusiness, retail and natural resources. Since 2003, she has acted as an arbitrator and counsel in more than 120 arbitrations under the arbitration rules of the ICC, LCIA, SCC, SCAI, ICAC at CCIRF, ICAC and MAC at UCCI, IAC at the BelCCI, GAFTA, FOSFA, LMAA, UNCITRAL.
Olena Perepelynska about her new role: “It’s an honour for me to be appointed as Board Member at the International Arbitration Court «Chamber of Arbitrators at the Union of Lawyers» that is the second largest arbitral institution in Belarus. As a Board, my colleagues and I will focus on revising the Arbitration Rules and the List of Arbitrators of the Court, enhancing its services quality, promoting the Court, developing ties with business communities, arbitration institutions and associations, and organizing knowledge-sharing events with foreign colleagues working in other law areas”.
