On April 11, 2018 within the frameworks of the Paris Arbitration week (PAW2018) the Conference “Shareholders Disputes in the CIS” took place. The event was organized the by the Ukrainian Arbitration Association with the support of international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
During the conference the leading arbitration lawyers from different countries shared their views related to the main challenges and prospects of corporate disputes in the region and discussed the arbitration reform in Ukraine.
Olena Perepelynska, the President of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association, Partner and Head of the CIS Arbitration Practice at INTEGRITES, in her speech told about the main changes that took place at the result of the arbitration reform implementation in Ukraine, in particular on issues related to arbitrability, amendments to the law on international commercial arbitration, enforcement of arbitration agreements, judicial assistance and control over arbitration.
