INTEGRITES promotes two new Senior Associates in Kazakhstan: Dmitriy Chekalov and Alma Umirzhanova

INTEGRITES, one of the leading international law firm in the CIS, has announced the promotion of Dmitriy Chekalov and Alma Umirzhanova to Senior Associates. Both newly appointed Senior Associates are based in the Almaty office.

Dmitriy Chekalov began his professional career at Integrites Kazakhstan in 2014. Prior to that, he worked in various law firms abroad and in Kazakhstan.

His main areas of practice are dispute resolution and International Arbitration, customs law and contract law. In terms of dispute resolution, Dmitriy has successfully represented many local and international companies in local state courts and private commercial arbitration courts. Moreover, he successfully advised many large foreign companies on compliance of FIDIC Agreement forms with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Alma Umirzhanova joined INTEGRITES Kazakhstan in 2016. She has a great experience in the legal sphere, especially in labor law, antimonopoly and competition law, corporate and commercial law. She provides legal advice to major international companies, with a particular focus on labor, tax and subsoil use law.
