INTEGRITES recruits from WilmerHale arbitration team

Krystyna Khripkova is joining INTEGRITES Arbitration Practice as a Senior Associate.

Ms. Khripkova’s practice focuses on investment and commercial international arbitration and dispute resolution. Her international arbitration experience encompasses both institutional and ad hoc arbitrations (including under the ICSID, ICC, LCIA, SCC, UNCITRAL and ICAC at the UCCI rules) seated in both common and civil law jurisdictions. Ms. Khripkova’s international arbitration practice spans a wide range of industries, including construction, financial services, telecommunications, hotel development and oil and gas.

Before joining INTEGRITES, Ms. Khripkova worked at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP in London, where she represented a major energy company in gas price review arbitration under the UNCIRAL Rules and advised foreign investors in two treaty arbitrations. She also acted pro bono assisting the Media Legal Defence Initiative in proceedings brought before the European Court of Human Rights.

Before then, Ms. Khripkova joined the arbitration team of Magisters Kyiv office in 2007 (the firm merged with Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners in 2011), where her career highlights included representing the State of Ukraine, and state-owned entities, in international investment and commercial arbitration cases, including under the ICSID, UNCITRAL, SCC and ICC rules. She worked in a team which represented the State of Ukraine in the following investment arbitration disputes: Global Trading Resource Corp. & others v. Ukraine; GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft v. Ukraine; Joseph Charles Lemire v. Ukraine; and Bosh International, Inc and B&P Ltd Foreign Investment Enterprise v. Ukraine. Ms. Khripkova also represented clients before the Ukrainian civil and commercial courts, in proceedings for the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards, including an ICSID award.

Ms. Khripkova is a graduate of Stockholm University (LL.M, diploma with distinction), the Ukrainian State University of Finance and International Trade (LL.M, diploma with distinction), and Ukrainian Academy of Foreign Trade (LL.B, diploma with distinction).
