INTEGRITES – top-tier firm in Dispute Resolution: International in Ukraine according to Chambers Europe 2022

In 2022 INTEGRITES significantly improves positions in Chambers Europe*, with Dispute Resolution: International joining Band 1 firms and two other transactional practices – Banking & Finance, Corporate and M&A – moving up the ranking tables.

Overall, in 2022 Chambers Europe recognizes INTEGRITES in 6 law areas with 6 experts receiving individual recognition in 4 law areas.

 

Dispute Resolution: International moves up to Band 1 while Dispute Resolution: Domestic keeps the pace of the previous year and remains in Band 4. The ranking acknowledges that the firm is regularly instructed by large local clients from industries such as energy, pharmaceuticals and agriculture, and represents international companies from a variety of economic sectors.

"INTEGRITES have a scrupulous approach to the preparation of documents. They took initiative and were able to collect information and create documents with an in-depth understanding. Three partners of the team get ranked for Dispute Resolution: International. Head of International Arbitration Olena Perepelynska moves up to the top of the rankings – Band 1 on the back of excellent market feedback. She is a market-leading international arbitration practitioner. She is also well regarded for her experience in cross-border litigation. "Olena Perepelynska is excellent at her craft and walks an extra mile to ensure the case is handled with the utmost professionalism and care", one client comments, while another adds: "She was a joy to work with. She's great at explaining the selected strategy".

Head of Cross-Border Litigation Dmytro Marchukov proves his position in Band 3 by being recognised for his work on litigation that spans multiple jurisdictions, including Cyprus and the BVI. He is also involved in international arbitration cases. "I found him really easy to work with", notes an interviewee, describing him as someone with "a good presence in the market who is well connected".

Serhii Uvarov is recognized as Up and Coming for the second year in a row, assisting with a range of cross-border litigation matters as well as international arbitration cases. He represents clients from a range of industries, including energy. "Serhii Uvarov has a business-savvy understanding. He knows how to spot and convey the issues", reports one source.

 

The research team emphasizes the strength of Banking & Finance team which moves up to Band 3, highlighting advice to Emergy on large-scale financing for the first three stages of the Zophia wind farm in southern Ukraine. A source says: "INTEGRITES are very commercial. They’re great at finding solutions and giving clients a sensible risk/return solution", adding: "They are very responsive".

 

Banking & Finance partner Igor Krasovskiy proves his position in Band 4 by being particularly visible in advising companies on the financing of renewable wind and solar energy projects and involvement in advising on borrowing from international financing institutions such as IFC.

 

Corporate / M&A team climbs up to Band 4 as a result of market support and increasing visibility. The team acts for both domestic and international clients on transactions across industries such as energy, pharmaceuticals, transportation and construction. Partner and Head of Corporate and M&A Illya Tkachuk improves his position from the previous year, being ranked as Band 3. He regularly advises on transactional and restructuring matters for clients across a range of industries, including energy. "I like that Illya Tkachuk's advice is always tailored to our case and is straight to the point", one client notes.

 

Energy & Natural Resources team proves the results of the previous year getting in Band 4. One client describes the team as "the go-to firm," explaining: "The firm sets the standards for their deep knowledge in the energy sector combined with strong legal background."
