INTEGRITES Ukraine is a leader in nine practices according to Legal 500 EMEA 2019

One of the most prestigious International legal ranking – Legal 500 2019 recommends INTEGRITES Ukraine in nine practice areas: Banking, Finance and Capital markets, Commercial, Corporate and M&A, Competition, Dispute Resolution, Energy, Intellectual Property, Real Estate and Construction, Tax, White Collar Crime. Oleksiy Feliv, Managing Partner, (Energy), Olena Perepelynska, Partner and Dmytro Marchukov, Partner (both – Dispute Resolution) have been listed in elite “Leading Lawyers” list in their practice areas. The Guide also recognizes the expertise of Olena Savchuk, Senior Associate, and Serhii Uvarov, Counsel, and named them among “Next Generation Lawyers” in Banking, Finance and Capital markets and Dispute Resolution respectively.

According to Legal 500 in Banking, Finance and Capital markets, INTEGRITES gained tier 2 for advising on regulatory and transactional matters including bilateral and syndicated loans, and debt recovery. The ranking marked Oleh Zahnitko and Oleksiy Feliv as key Partners at INTEGRITES together with Senior Associate Olena Savchuk, who provides ‘accurate’ advice. Oleh Zahnitko was recognized for handling a €52m secured financing for EBRD. Moreover, Legal 500 2019 recommended Igor Krasovskiy, Partner, Banking and Finance.

In Commercial, Corporate and M&A, INTEGRITES is ranked in tier 3. Legal 500 2019 marked NBT project and Dr. Oleksiy Feliv, Managing Partner. INTEGRITES team “keeps to deadlines and is known for its preciseness and availability’. The ranking also recommended Julian Ries, Partner, Head of International Offices, and Illya Tkachuk, Partner, Corporate and M&A.

Competition practice is highly praised (tier 2) for being a ‘very good at antitrust law – very experienced and effective’. Clients recommend Senior Partner Vyacheslav Korchev, who handles complex investigations and merger control cases. Counsel Serhiy Shershun is also recommended in this practice area.

The ranking, as well, recommended Dispute Resolution practice (tier 2) for ‘strategic thinking and readiness to go the extra mile’. Legal 500 marked INTEGRITES for a deep bench of talent that includes Head of CIS arbitration Olena Perepelynska and “intelligent and hardworking’ Head of cross-border litigation Dmytro Marchukov, and Counsel Serhii Uvarov.

Legal 500 recommended Energy practice (tier 2) as a ‘clearly a strong player in the energy sector’, highlighting 250MW wind farm project – Norway’s NBT. Ranking also marked lawyers’ knowledge of real estate, construction, natural resources and licensing law. Dr.Oleksiy Feliv, Managing Partner is the standout partner, who is ‘highly experienced and client-oriented’.

INTERGITES Intellectual Property gained tier 3, handling contentious IP matters as well as the management of IP portfolios. Legal 500 marked INTEGRITES team for defending Farmak’s IP rights against competitors engaged in unfair competition. The ranking also highlighted the work of Dariya Ganzienko, Head of IP practice, who assisted Fornetti with the IP aspects of its acquisition by Aryzta.

Real Estate and Construction practice is recommended as a core practice at INTEGRITES and ranked in tier 2. Legal 500 marked NBT project led by Dr. Oleksiy Feliv.

The ranking recommended Tax and Customs practice (tier 2) and Viktoriya Fomenko, Partner and head of Head of Tax and Customs practice. The firm is best known for its disputes work and counts an international airline and a global cigarette company among its clients in this practice area.

White Collar Crime practice is recognized by Legal 500 (tier 2) for “handling investigations and litigation on behalf of victims and suspected perpetrators of white-collar crime”. Volodymyr Rudnychenko, Counsel and Head of White Collar Crime practice was noted for legal advice to the local subsidiary of an international trading firm as the victim of forgery in an illegal takeover transaction.
