INTEGRITES defended the interests of the Ukrainian company in arbitration with the Russian chemical giant and prevented recovery of over $16 million

INTEGRITES arbitration team has successfully represented the interests of the Ukrainian respondent in a dispute with a Russian chemical giant that filed a claim to the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

INTEGRITES arbitration team has successfully represented the interests of the Ukrainian respondent in a dispute with a Russian chemical giant that filed a claim to the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry seeking to invalidate the price clause in the additional agreements to the Contract, and then to approve a new wording of this clause, which contained a price much lower than provided for in the current version of the Contract.

Ukrainian respondent was exposed to  over $16 million, which the Claimant could have further claimed as overpayments under the contract, as well as to  new proceedings with similar claims but for an earlier period.

INTEGRITES team, acting as counsel for the Ukrainian respondent,  managed to prove that all the claims against it were groundless and most of them were not capable of settlement by arbitration. As a result, the arbitral tribunal terminated the proceedings regarding the latter and dismissed all other claims of the Russian company.
