The INTEGRITES’ team of lawyers provided legal support of two transactions for the Banque de Commerce et de Placements SA (Switzerland) and Coöperatieve Rabobank U.A. (Netherlands) regarding the provision of pre-export financing to the leading Ukrainian agro-holding.
Credit funds were provided for financing purchase of wheat, maize, barley, soybean and other agricultural products of Ukrainian origin for their further export to Europe, Africa and Asia. The amount of financing from Banque de Commerce et de Placements SA was $ 57 million, and the funding from Coöperatieve Rabobank U.A. was $ 50 million.
The project included a comprehensive assessment of possible risks, preparation of financial and security documentation. In the first case, Ukrainian and Swiss law regulated the transaction, in the second case – Ukrainian and English law.
