15.06.2018

INTEGITES Antitrust & Competition team, represented by Pavlo Loginov (Counsel) and Bohdan Ilchenko (Associate) acted as a legal counsel to one of the major Ukrainian shopping centers – Mandarin Plaza, in order to obtain a merger clearance from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (the AMCU). The advice was of a complex and comprehensive nature: a deep legal analysis of the proposed deal, as well as filling of required documents to the AMCU.

During the process, lawyers were involved in active official communication with the AMCU in order to provide additional information and documents. The client has successfully obtained approval from the AMCU for the merger within the terms prescribed by global sales and purchase agreement. This deal is important as it allowed Mandarin Plaza to develop the whole trade and entertainment business in Ukraine. Mandarin Plaza is the first and the largest Ukrainian shopping and entertainment center with top world fashion brands.
