INTEGRITES completed the third round of i-Talents, an educational project for law students. This year i-Talents took place as an intellectual battle. The participants successfully developed and presented the proposal to their first client, as well as learned how a law firm works and builds relations with the clients.
INTEGRITES received more than 130 applications from 3-6 grade law students from universities of Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv. Based on the results of the selection, 25 students became participants of the battle.
They worked with mentors – INTEGRITES’ lawyers from the Antitrust and Competition, Corporate and M&A, Tax and Customs, Banking and Finance, Litigation and Dispute Resolution practices. Together with the firm’s lawyers, project participants researched the problem of the potential client, tried to find the solution and presented their ideas to the client.
Based on the evaluation by the expert panel, the winning team included the following 5 students:
Currently, the expert panel at INTEGRITES is selecting the best participants. They will join the firm as interns in the practices of their choice and will become eligible for further employment in the firm.
“In Ukraine university students mainly study the theory of law. However, it’s not only professional competence that makes a student ready for the real job. Those willing to build their career in a law firm should also know the basics of business development because career promotion in a law firm directly depends on the new client wins. We are happy to help young people with a successful start in the legal profession and grateful for their energy and persistence”, – Senior partner at INTEGRITES and the keynote speaker of i-Talents 2020 Vyacheslav Korchev commented.
