Vasyl Yurmanovych – speaker at the webinar of the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce

On November 17, 2020, the Committee on staff management and recruitment at German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Ukraine) held a webinar on “Labor Law: Changes and Trends during the Quarantine”.

Vasyl Yurmanovych, Counsel of Employment at INTEGRITES, told to business representatives about the inspections of the State Labor Service of Ukraine, namely:

• types of inspections
• grounds for inspections including for the irregular ones
• how to get ready for the inspection and act during it
• how to appeal the inspections’ results

 

The event’s speakers, including representatives from the consulting companies and members of the AHK Ukraine’s Committees, told about the peculiarities of the remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic, challenges the business faces due to the quarantine and share the best practices on how to support employees who work remotely.

The speakers also reviewed the recently adopted draft law on regulation of the remote work.
