INTEGRITES and UAA hosted arbitration events in May

In May, INTEGRITES together with Ukrainian Arbitration Association hosted several arbitration events:  Arbitration Breakfast with the ICC Secretariat, Joint UAA&ArbitralWomen Breakfast on Arbitration in Corporate/Post M&A disputes, and the VII Arbitration School. These events were aimed to support educational initiatives and foster development of arbitration in Ukraine. The organizers of the events gathered the best lecturers among which were experienced arbitration practitioners from various jurisdictions who shared their knowledge and experience with the participants.

At the Arbitration Breakfast with the ICC Secretariat, Sergii Melnyk, ICC Deputy Counsel shared the ICC Secretariat’s experience in handling arbitral proceedings with current and potential users through lively and informal discussion. In addition, participants got a chance to discuss practical aspects of case management in the Eastern and Central Europe.

On 9 – 13 May 2019, Olena Perepelynska, Partner, Head of CIS Arbitration Practice at INTEGRITES and President of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association (UAA), Serhii Uvarov, Counsel, and Krystyna Khripkova, Senior Associate at INTEGRITES, took part in the VII Arbitration School. In addition to coordinating the Arbitration School, Olena Perepelynska and Serhii also contributed to the round table discussion on forging a career in international arbitration where they shared their knowledge and  gave practical advice to the participants. While Krystyna Khripkova acted as a Mock Case Coach.

On May 14, INTEGRITES hold the first ever event of the ArbitralWomen in Ukraine, where Olena Perepelynska, President of the UAA, was moderating a discussion of corporate and post M&A disputes.
