INTEGRITES partner Olena Perepelynska took part in ICC Institute advanced level training

INTEGRITES partner Olena Perepelynska took part in the advanced level training “Drafting enforceable awards”, which took place in Kyiv on 12th September. The event was organized by ICC Institute of World Business Law and supported by Ukrainian Arbitration Association and the Ukrainian Bar Association.

The training aimed at helping the participants learn the procedural and formal requirements to drafting awards. Participants gained practical skills in the preparation of enforceable arbitral awards and learned about standards and internal procedures of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, in particular, the scrutiny of the draft awards by the Court which is a unique feature of arbitration under the rules of this institution.

Olena Perepelynska, as a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, together with two other Court members and representatives of the Secretariat conducted a mock court session. It served to explain the participants how draft awards are scrutinized by the Court.

The training brought together arbitrators, academics, dispute resolution experts and practicing lawyers experienced in international commercial arbitration.
