Kurmangazy Talzhanov participated in the First Trade and Economic Conference “Doing Business with Iran”

The First Economic and Trade Conference “Doing Business with Iran” took place on March 1, 2017 in Almaty.

The First Economic and Trade Conference “Doing Business with Iran” took place on March 1, 2017 in Almaty.

The conference was organized by the National Agency for Export and Investment «KAZNEX INVEST», the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the online B2B trading platform Zoodel.

The conference main topics were devoted to clarifying the issues of state regulation, paperwork procedures, monetary trading conditions with Iran and presentations of online B2B trading platform Zoodel, as well as the establishment of trade relations between the two countries.

This event is held in Kazakhstan for the first time.

As part of the Iranian delegation were representatives of government agencies and businesses, including the National Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Iranian-Kazakh Business Council, and Iran’s State Export Credit Agency.

The representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Development, the Ministry of Agriculture, the National Bank, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken”, JSC “NC “Prodcorporatsiya”, the business community and industry associations attended the event from Kazakhstani side.

The bilateral meetings were held at the conclusion of the conference, and the participants of two countries had a unique opportunity to exchange experience and contacts to establish mutually beneficial and fruitful cooperation in the future.
