Olena Perepelynska, Partner and Head of CIS Arbitration Practice at INTEGRITES, participated in Warsaw Arbitration and Mediation Days (WAMD) 2018.
As a speaker, Olena took part in disputes about advantages and disadvantages of the new New York Convention on mediation.
Also Olena, as a member of the Prague Rules Working Group, participated in the round table discussion on the Pragues Rules as an alternative to IBA rules, which impressed by fruitful and interesting discussion. The discussion covered such issues as proactive role of the Tribunal, fact finding, different types of evidence (documentary evidence, fact witnesses, experts), jura novit curia principle, hearing, assistance in amicable settlement, adverse inference and allocation of costs.
Olena is a member of the Prague Rules Working Group and together with colleagues led the discussion aimed to obtain the feedback form the potential users of the Prague Rules to be considered when revising the draft.
