Olena Perepelynska, Partner at INTEGRITES, spoke at the IX Annual Conference of the American Bar Association "The Resolution of CIS-Related Business Disputes"

On December 8, ABA Committee on International Law and the RAA held the 9th Annual Conference of the American Bar Association «The Resolution of CIS-Related Business Disputes». Olena Perepelynska, Partner and Head of International CIS Arbitration Practice at INTEGRITES spoke at the session “Property of the State: Enforcement of Arbitral Awards and Court Judgments against States and State Companies”.

Olena Perepelynska focused her speech on the foreign and Ukrainian courts practice in cases against Ukrainian state entities and authorities. She explained the issue of proper respondent in commercial disputes with state bodies. Furthermore, Olena gave practical examples of attaching the property of the Ukrainian state enterprise for Ukraine’s obligations as well as commented on the application of Ukrainian sanctions in the context of the foreign arbitral awards enforcement in Ukraine.
