On May 10, Olena Perepelynska, Partner and Head of CIS Arbitration practice at INTEGRITES, participated in the ICC Conference on Enforcement, setting aside and related treaty claims: A view from Europe.
Olena Perepelynska delivered a presentation “Recognition & Enforcement and Setting Aside of Foreign Arbitral Awards in Ukraine and Russia”.
In her presentation, Olena Perepelynska gave some statistics regarding enforcement and setting aside of the arbitral awards in Ukraine and Russia, outlining the most popular grounds for ‘negative’ judgments in both jurisdictions. In addition, Olena spoke about major changes in arbitration reform 2017 in Ukraine and more pro-arbitration practice of the Ukrainian courts.
The ICC Conference marked the 100th anniversary of the ICC and was aimed to help arbitration practitioners to keep up to date with the latest developments and increasing challenges when it comes to enforcement and setting aside of arbitral awards.
