Partners of INTEGRITES how to perform debt to equity swap

During a business breakfast organized by INTEGRITES in Kiev office, the topic of converting debt into assets as a way to reduce the size of the company’s liabilities and increase the equity capital was discussed. The hot topics for discussion were the practical realization of debt-to-equity swap in Ukraine and its tax consequences.

INTEGRITES experts shared their experience of using the tools of Ukrainian corporate law to facilitate business in the current economic situation and told about international practice. In particular, Anton Babak, an associate of INTEGRITES, noted the importance of cooperation with the notaries who can perform the function of the state registrars during realization of the debt-to-equity swap.
