INTEGRITES advised leading Ukrainian producer of household goods on antitrust issues

INTEGITES Antitrust & Competition team, represented by Pavlo Loginov (Counsel) and Bohdan Ilchenko (Associate) under the supervision of Vyacheslav Korchev (Senior Partner) consulted leading Ukrainian producer of household goods on issues related to alleged violation of antitrust legislation in form of unfair competition. Thus, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (the AMCU) was investigating the Client’s actions regarding the unfair usage of the trademark.

The advice was of a complex and comprehensive nature: conduct of deep and thorough legal analysis of the AMCU’s allegations and submission of the solid evidence of the Client’s intention to comply with the competition law to the AMCU. As the result of the advice, the AMCU has been convinced that the Client’s business activity in Ukraine fully complies with the competition requirements, and the AMCU terminated the investigation in relation to the Client.

Additionally, the team assisted the client in obtaining the AMCU’s preliminary conclusion regarding the launch of a new trademark of the Client.
