Key Responsibilities

• Advising clients on a range of regulatory and antitrust matters;
• Drafting merger control and concerted practices filings, transaction and other related documents, memoranda, legal opinions, etc.
• Drafting and reviewing various legal documents for compliance with competition laws;
• Advising clients on various competition law matters, including unfair competition, abuse of dominance, analysis of distribution agreements and policies;
• Legal research on various topics;
• Analysis of the decisions of the Ukrainian Competition Authority;
• Analysis of applicable case law;
• Direct communication with representatives of the Ukrainian Competition Authority and clients;
• Participating in due diligence, external negotiations, client meetings, communication with government authorities (including communication during inspections);
• Project management, time tracking, supervision / mentoring of junior lawyers and paralegals;
• Business development and media activity (publications, legal alerts, trainings, webinars, speaking at conferences, etc.)

Requirements

• Law degree from a reputable university;
• At least 3 years of working experience in Antitrust and Competition (working experience with an international or a leading Ukrainian law firm is an advantage);
• English language proficiency (writing and speaking).
• Proficiency in other foreign languages is an advantage;
• Excellent analytical and legal research;
• Ability to produce quality mid-level complex legal documents;
• Ability to multitask with several projects simultaneously;
• Proficiency with MS Office software, online resources and legal databases
