Key Requirements

• Higher education in Law from a reputable Ukrainian university, foreign LL.M. degree is an advantage
• Certificate in advocacy is a must
• 1 + (Junior Associate) / 3 + (Associate) years of experience as an associate with an international or a leading Ukrainian law firm (white-collar crime)
• Experience in representing the client's interests in criminal proceedings
• Fluency in English and Ukrainian
• Excellent analytical, research, and legal writing skills
• Desire to work independently and have control over your professional growth
• Self-motivating, excellent communication skills, result- and client-oriented approach, the ability to work both an independently and in a team
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, legal databases (Liga, etc.)

Main Responsibilities

• Advise the Firm's clients on a wide range of criminal law issues, as well as related tax, economic and civil law issues
• Draft all types of procedural documents in accordance with the CPC, CC
• Protect and represent clients at all stages of criminal proceedings
• Draft and revise various types of legal documents in English, Ukrainian and/or Russian languages
• Participate in due diligence processes, draft due diligence reports
• Participate in negotiations
• Perform other assignments upon instructions of the supervisor and/or the clients' requests
