On 29-30 January, Dmytro Marchukov, Partner and Head of Cross-Border Litigation at INTEGRITES, spoke at the conference INTERNATIONAL DISPUTES AND ASSET RECOVERY INVOLVING RUSSIAN AND CIS PARTIES, which was organized by C5 in London. Dmytro discussed the various practical aspects of managing asset tracing and recovery process in Ukraine. In particular, he focused on the impact of latest trends in the global market upon complex multi-jurisdictional cases, which involve Ukrainian parties. He also gave tips on coordinating civil, criminal and insolvency proceedings in order to increase efficiency of the recovery of the assets located in Ukraine.
“The conferences of this type are becoming increasingly relevant and useful. The disputes arising out of the region are often complicated by the need to coordinate efforts in parallel in a number of jurisdictions where legal landscape is quite diverse: common law, offshore, civil law, post-Soviet states, etc. C5 are great at bringing together the relevant professionals in one place where we have an opportunity to exchange views, intensify relations and deepen knowledge of each other”, says Dmytro Marchukov.
