INTEGRITES and АСС held tax seminar in Lviv

On October 23, 2018 INTEGRITES together with the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine held a tax seminar “Bye, Bye, BVI” in Lviv. During the event, the keynote speaker, Viktoriya Fomenko, Counsel at INTEGRITES, shared her practical knowledge on how to run a business facing global changes in the field of international taxation.

During the seminar, participants discussed the implementation of BEPS measures in Ukraine as well as minimization of risks related to subscription to the MLI Convention, and analyzed the EU precedents related to passive income payments. The speaker also clarified the main threats of СFC rules, and gave advice on risk assessment in corporate structures.

At the end of the seminar, the participants were fully informed on how to build a corporate structure that complies both with the current requirements of international taxation and with the upcoming changes that are to be implemented in Ukraine in the nearest future.
