Since October of 2024, the President of Ukraine has issued 9 decrees on the application (amendment) of personal sanctions against 236 legal entities and 246 individuals.

Forfeiture of assets of sanctioned persons to Ukraine

Since October 2024, the High Anti-Corruption Court has registered four (4) new claims of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine for forfeiture of assets in favour of Ukraine and granted four (4) claims which have been submitted earlier in 2024.

As a result, during October – December 2024 the High Anti-Corruption Court has forfeited:

Challenging sanctions in court

Since October 2024, the Supreme Court has registered 23 statements of claim challenging the decrees of the President of Ukraine on the application of personal sanctions. Of these, 15 have been listed for hearing.

In addition, the Supreme Court has considered five cases challenging sanctions, and all five claims have been denied.
