Victoria Melnychenko moderated the seminar “Food Industry in Ukraine: Legal Challenges and Opportunities”

On June 12, 2018 INTEGRITES together with the American Chamber of Commerce hold a seminar “Food Industry in Ukraine: Legal Challenges and Opportunities”. Victoria Melnychenko, head of Agro&Food practice at INTEGRITES moderated the event and told the audience about the main amendments to legislation related to the food industry.

During the discussion the participants received practical recommendations and answers on topical and at the same time challenging questions for business. Victoria Ogryza, Head of Legal Department, PepsiCo Ukraine, shared her experience of efficient cooperation with the retail companies, in particular she told how to conduct negotiations efficiently, what to take into account when you exchange the information and how to fix the agreements on paper.

Olena Globa, Head of Legal Department, Lactalis Ukraine, told the audience how to protect the company from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine’s fines, how to label the goods, what should be obligatory placed on the goods’ packages and using real examples she showed the mistakes that other national producers had made while labeling the goods and their packages.

Ekateryna Marchenko, Deputy Head of Legal Department, Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine Limited, shared her experience related to labor dispute resolution.
